MOI Traffic & Patrol Command Center, Qatar

The MOI from Qatar again selected SPF for the design and supply of the control consoles for a new Traffic & Patrol Command Center located at Doha, Qatar.

SPF together with our esteemed partner SALAM TECHNOLOGY designed this control center and technical consoles after several layout options and configurations. Finaly were supplied the consoles from ELITE series, to accomodate 12 operators, spread over 3 fixed curved consoles, and 2 supervisors with ELITE_AIR series with the sit/stand ergonomic feature. All the consoles were fully customized to include the special requirements ordered by MOI.

Due to the high volume of equipment the ELITE consoles were equipped with the ELITE high capacity rear cabinets, which provide plenty of space for cable managment and equipment integration inside. For the heat extraction generated by the equipment, these cabinets provide forced ventilation by means of low-noise fans controlled by electronic thermostats.

At the same time, for privacy and accoustics reasons, the MOI requested to provide accoustic panels between operators, in the same burgundy color of the Qatari flag. The supply of the furniture also included a round meeting table from our ELITE_MEET series, and cabinets for printers from ELITE_AUX series and 18 nos. K18 ergonomic 24/7 chairs.

The control center, which is created on 3 levels to provide perfect visual ergonomics, is chaired by 4×2 55″ video wall.
