FIFA World Cup, Qatar'22
ASPIRE Control & Command Center, Qatar
ASPIRE ZONE FOUNDATION entrusted SPF with the design and supply of the consoles for its new Command and Control Center in Doha (Qatar), that will be used for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The center will monitor and control all operational systems, including electromechanical systems, security and protection, communications and IT, of all the stadiums of the next FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Qatar claims it is the most sophisticated system ever seen at a sporting event. In linking the stadiums to one hub, each stadium also has a digital version of itself that allows officials to trace an issue on site.
The challenge of this project was to integrate the maximum number of operator positions, following the curvature of the giant videowall, without compromising the ergonomics and efficiency of each position. Finally, the main room consists of 75 operator positions, divided into three different areas. Each area with ELITE consoles custom designed to house different equipment and monitors. All this while maintaining a single design uniformity and all equipped with LED ligthing and backlit ASPIRE logos.
This command center has a crisis room where an ELITE MEET series crisis table was installed, equipped with all the power and connectivity needs for users. From this crisis room there is access to a balcony where you can see the main control room and the videowall.
