TOCUMEN Airport Control Center, Panama
SPF was awarded for the supply of the 16 operator consoles for the new AOCC (Airport Operations Command Center) of the Tocumen Airport in Panama.
After several proposals, the customer finally settled on our NUVEA adjustable height console, in which he requested a series of modifications to its original design and asked us to add some new functions.
The customer requested the integration of a keypad so that the operator can indicate the emergency level at all times, which illuminate various areas of the console in three colors (green, orange or red). In this way, room supervisors can quickly see which operators are attending an emergency and at what level of status they are at all times.
The operator has a wireless charger for his mobile phone built into the surface of the console along with 2 USB connectors.
The white and silver color was chosen to match with the rest of the rooms and furniture within this great remodeling project of the different offices and corporate areas of the Tocumen Airport in Panama.
With an investment of around 6.7 million dollars, the Tocumen International Airport has set up a new Airport Operations Control Center (AOCC), which includes all the infrastructure, the entire software system , the Video Walls (video walls), the furniture and also a three-year maintenance for the entire system.
The new Center is equipped with high-tech tools, where multiple operational processes, incidents, security, passenger service, infrastructure management, maintenance, among others, will be coordinated in real time. And it also has a crisis management room.
